Child Development and Pedagogy
The official syllabus gives 30 questions: Elementary Child Development (15), Inclusive Education (5), and Learning & Pedagogy (10). It includes development, heredity and environment, socialisation, Piaget/Kohlberg/Vygotsky, child-centred education, intelligence, language and thought, gender, individual differences, CCE, learning, cognition, emotion, motivation and adjustment.
Language I
Official options: Malayalam, English, Tamil or Kannada. It carries 30 marks and includes language comprehension, language pedagogy and language/literature/culture components according to the selected language.
Language II
Official options: Malayalam, English, Hindi, Arabic, Urdu or Sanskrit. It carries 30 marks. The English syllabus has 15 language-comprehension questions and 15 pedagogy questions.
Science & Mathematics Option
